The memoir Jackie's Girl by Jackie Kennedy's former personal assistant Kathy McKeon is full of personal anecdotes about historic moments like the tragic day Bobby Kennedy was assassinated and Jackie Kennedy's whirlwind wedding to Aristotle Onassis.

But it also includes tiny details about everyday life in the Kennedy household that could only be known by someone who lived with the family for years.

One of the most interesting tidbits? A packing tip courtesy of the former first lady.

"If I got Madam's suitcases down and put them on the guest room bed, everyone's antennae instantly went up: They knew that meant a trip was afoot, and that I would know when and where, since I did the packing," explained McKeon.

"I always needed a decent head start on that, since every sleeve, pant leg, and pocket had to be stuffed with packing paper to minimize wrinkling."

So there you have it. The key to looking like Jackie Kennedy on-the-go involves a whole lot of tissue paper (and someone to do your packing for you). It's just about as easy as you think it'd be—which is to say, not very.
