Once upon a time, it took millions of dollars—or the right connections—to fly private. Today, just a couple hundred thousand, or even less, will do. Want to go on an around-the-world trip, but don't want to fly commercial? TCS World Travel organizes such itineraries, starting at $73,000 per person, as does the Four Seasons. And some might even argue it's become as easy to book a private jet, or a seat on one, as it is to call an Uber.

Now adding to that mix is Aman, the hotel company known for its minimalist temples of one percent zen in destinations that are both remote (Amangiri in the Utah desert, Amankora in the valleys of Bhutan) and hidden in secluded areas of cities (the recently opened Aman Kyoto, Amanyangyun outside Shanghai). Unlike the Four Seasons or TCS jets, which are essentially 757s reconfigured to hold 52 passengers instead of 200, the new Aman Private Jet is a Bombardier Global 5000 with space for just 12 guests. And with the help of a dedicated concierge, you can go anywhere you want.

The intimacy of the plane allows for completely customizable itineraries, whether you want to plan a bachelorette party at the Amangiri, organize a spa getaway to Bali's Amandari, take a family vacation to the Aman Tokyo, or spend a romantic weekend away at the Amanera in the Dominican Republic. The Aman Jet Concierge can also plan trips that incorporate multiple Aman destinations, or even none at all. Those who choose the latter route will, of course, get all the Aman-level amenities and service in flight, like all-natural Aman Skincare products and signature rituals like a tea ceremony.

For the Aman superfan, the company has curated four special journeys to coincide with the launch of the plane. There's a bespoke Indonesian itinerary that incorporates five Aman hotels in the country, for example, or a seven-night spiritual escape to Bhutan that ends with three relaxing days at the Amanpuri in Phuket. And best of all, the journey home will be just as breezy. Imagine that.
