Scenes From the Pre-Wedding Party of Erwan Heussaff and Anne Curtis-Smith in New Zealand

After months of speculation surrounding the wedding between Town&Country June 2013 cover subject Erwan Heussaff and his actress fiancée Anne Curtis-Smith, it seems the rumors have become reality. High-profile friends and families of the couple had been spotted gathering in New Zealand over the past few days, and today, the couple formally welcomed their guests at an outdoor pre-wedding party.
“Welcome to Middle Earth!” a sign reads.
The party, held in the afternoon on the auspicious date 11/11, took place at Arthur’s Point in Queenstown. An otherworldly backdrop of lush greens, clear blue skies, and mountaintops made for
The bride, beautifully clad in an unconventional bohemian Vera Wang gown and retro heart-shaped sunglasses, happily posed for pictures against the greenery.
Guests scattered across the lawn, claiming their spots with picnic mats. There was entertainment for everyone: musical performances and comedic antics courtesy of Heussaff’s brother-in-law, Nico Bolzico. In true picnic fashion, a grazing spread was laid out for guests to enjoy.
Guests such as Curtis-Smith’s ABS-CBN celebrity colleagues, Heussaffs’s sister Solenn, and their inner circle of ‘It’ girls—who were all there for Anne’s bridal shower in the U.S.—were present. Also present were Rajo Laurel, Nix Alanon, Kim and Feli Atienza, and Jacques and Mia Branellec.
The couple announced their engagement after a trip to the U.S. last December. They once again made headlines earlier this month after releasing photos of their prenuptial photo shoot in South Korea. Growing excitement surrounds what could be the wedding day tomorrow.
