Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner's Wedding Will Have a Complicated Guest List
It's official. Model Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner are tying the knot. Kloss announced the news of their engagement on her Instagram account on Tuesday with a photo captioned, "I love you more than I have words to express. Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate. I can’t wait for forever together. Yes a million times over ????"
Kushner also shared a post about the proposal: a photo of Karlie simply captioned, "fiancée ??."
At this point, very few details about their wedding have been made public, but here's what we know so far. (Plus, a few predictions for the celebration.)
People reports that the couple got engaged while on vacation in upstate New York earlier this summer. A source told the magazine, “He proposed a few weeks ago during a romantic weekend together in upstate New York.”
The insider also shared, “They’re both overjoyed and happily celebrating. Their hearts are full and they’re excited to build their future together.”
Not long after the engagement was announced, Karlie posted a sweet video of her ring on Instagram Stories along with a note about how well-wishers had been sending her sweet messages about her engagement all day.
While Kushner comes from an Orthodox Jewish family, at this point, it's unclear what kind of wedding ceremony he and Kloss will have. Some publications, including the Forward, are speculating that Kloss has been studying with of Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun on the Upper East Side and has already converted, but her faith has not been publicly acknowledged at this point.
