Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger's Wedding: Everything We Know So Far
Back in January, Chris Pratt fans woke up to a surprise social media announcement: after a whirlwind romance, he and Katherine Schwarzenegger were engaged. "Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes!" Pratt wrote in a caption. "I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!"
And this weekend, the pair reportedly tied the knot.
“The venue is beautiful. Lots of flowers and greenery everywhere. It’s a very romantic setting for a wedding,” a source told People about the intimate Montecito, California ceremony.
"Everyone just looked so happy," the source continued.
Here's everything we know so far about Pratt and Schwarzenegger's nuptials.
BOTH THE BRIDE AND GROOM WORE CUSTOM ARMANI.
In an Instagram post, Katherine Schwarzenegger thanked Giorgio Armani for his designs. "We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us, and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani, who created a once in a lifetime dress for me to wear, and for Chris, the perfect suit," she wrote. "This morning we feel nothing but blessed."

Yesterday was the best day of our lives! We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives. We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us, and grateful to Mr Giorgio Armani, who created a once in a lifetime dress for me to wear, and for Chris, the perfect suit. This morning we feel nothing but blessed.
Schwarzenegger paired her strapless Armani gown with a long veil and some very sparkly earrings.
GUESTS INCLUDED SCHWARZENEGGER'S FAMILY, AND CHRIS PRATT'S SON.
The bride's parents and siblings Patrick, Christopher, and Christina were all in attendance. As was actor Rob Lowe and his children. Pratt's six-year-old son Jack (whose mother is Pratt's ex-wife, Anna Farris), was also there and has reportedly been involved with his and Schwarzenegger's relationship at every step—like this past Halloween, when they joined Farris and her current beau to celebrate the holiday with Jack.
At this point, it's unclear if Jack had a role in the ceremony.
IT WASN'T A BLOWOUT BASH.
"Chris and Katherine’s wedding will be a very intimate affair with just their closest loved ones," a source told People ahead of the ceremony. "They don’t want it to be a circus. The focus will be their commitment to each other."
THE WEDDING MENU WAS "VERY VIBRANT."
"They are using only local food. It’s a lot of fresh vegetables. They didn’t want the menu to be too heavy, or rich. It’s more of a light summer menu,” a source told People of the eats at the reception. "For dessert, there are lighter options as well like raspberries, blueberries and red currant."
SCHWARZENEGGER HAD A BRIDAL SHOWER IN APRIL—AND HER MOTHER, MARIA SHRIVER, WAS VERY INVOLVED.
"Maria definitely went all-out for the shower but it still felt very down-to-earth and intimate inside," a source told People of the event at Shriver's home. "There were fun games and a flower station where guests could make arrangements, and a gospel choir sang several songs."
The guest list included family and friends—one of whom was Oprah Winfrey. Pratt reportedly showed up too, to give a "sweet" toast, although "he wanted her to have all the attention," the source said.
BEFORE THE CEREMONY, KATHERINE SCHWARZENEGGER SAID THAT THE WHOLE FAMILY WAS "REALLY INVOLVED" IN THE WEDDING PROCESS.
"I mean, I feel like we're all really involved in wedding planning," Schwarzenegger told Entertainment Tonight. "I think that, you know, for me, my family is very involved. I'm very involved, [Chris is] very involved so it's a great combination of everything and just a really exciting and fun [time]."
As they planned for their wedding, the couple started creating a life together. A recent post on Pratt's Instagram hinted that they were moving in to a new home, featuring photos of Schwarzenegger posing in front of various walls, for scale. "When you need to see if your stuff will fit in the new place but you forgot the tape measure," Pratt explained in the caption.
PREVIOUSLY, PRATT HAD SAID THEY WERE AIMING FOR A FALL OR WINTER WEDDING, BUT CLEARLY THAT WASN'T THE CASE.
The actor told Us Weekly that the couple was planning "A little, you know, maybe fall, winter kind of thing and you know, we’ve got a lot to get done"—although they haven't "really" started wedding planning in earnest.
He also added that Jack, his six-year-old son with Anna Farris, was "so thrilled" for his dad's nuptials.
THERE WAS LIKELY A RELIGIOUS ASPECT TO THE WEDDING.
Faith is reportedly important to both Pratt and Schwarzenegger. The couple has been spotted attended L.A. mega church Hillsong, also known as a favorite of the likes of Justin Bieber and Kourtney Kardashian.
"God will play a very large role on their big day," a source recently told People.
WE'VE GOTTEN A GLIMPSE AT THE ENGAGEMENT RING.
In the photo Pratt shared announcing their engagement, we can clearly see the (very large) ring on Schwarzenegger's finger. Kathryn Money, Brilliant Earth’s VP, Strategy and Merchandising, estimates the ring features an estimated six or seven-carat center diamond that is either an elongated cushion cut or oval shaped in a delicate solitaire setting.
