After saying "I do" in a civil ceremony earlier in June, Charlotte Casiraghi and Dimitri Rassam went all-out for their second wedding.

During the first event, Casiraghi honored to her grandmother, Grace Kelly, by wearing her jewels and a Chanel gown reminiscent of Kelly's wedding look. But for her second ceremony, Casiraghi looked to her mother, Monaco's Princess Caroline, for inspiration.

Casiraghi and Rassam's second wedding was held in Provence, just outside St. Remy de Provence. The locale itself was a nod to Caroline, as it's where she moved with her children, following her husband's death. But the tribute didn't stop there—Casiraghi's dress, designed by Giambattista Valli, also clearly took a page from Caroline's book.

At Caroline's 1978 wedding, she wore a long-sleeved, semi-sheer gown, with an opaque under-layer. Casiraghi's dress mimics that design, but with even more delicate details. It paired well with her groom's sartorial choice: an off-white or light gray suit, matched with a gray vest, blue shirt, and mustard tie.

Princess Caroline marries Philippe Juno, her first husband before Stefano Casiraghi, Charlotte’s father.

She wore it to the Abbaye Sainte-Marie de Pierredon for a religious ceremony. Casiraghi's guests, meanwhile, had arrived in coaches, on a route that showcased the area's natural beauty. "It is this particular love of Provence she wants to share with her family and friends," a friend told People.

Attendees included Casiraghi's mother Princess Caroline, her uncle Prince Albert, and her three siblings, as well as Rassam's mother, French actress Carole Bouquet. Guests were reportedly given lavender, produced by a local purveyor, as wedding favors.
