Rustan Commercial Corporation President Donnie Tantoco surprised his wife Crickette with a song and dance number during her birthday celebration over the weekend. Crickette celebrated with a Thanksgiving turkey and all the trimmings for lunch at home with immediate family members and the couple’s closest friends.

“When Crickette built this house one of the things she envisioned is exactly what’s happening right now,” Donnie told his guests. “We didn’t build a home just for the family. We wanted to build a home where we could celebrate really important things, happy things including the most important relationships in our lives. And this is exactly what’s going on. We’re really enjoying celebrating the companionship of each other today.”

“I really, really love Crickette. And I thank you, her family and friends, for the roles you have played in her life. Every facet of her fascinates me, and I’m totally in love with every facet of her,” he said.

“Crix, I've been married to you for 29 years, and I’ve been telling you so often how beautiful you are. I’ve felt it so much and every time I feel it, I tell you… Today it’s not only me who thinks you’re beautiful. A lot of people think you’re beautiful. We’re going to express our love and gratitude for you on your birthday. This is your birthday… You are lovely. You are so lovely in every sense of that word,” he said.

Donnie, his daughter, Nicole, his sisters, Bea Tantoco Reyes and Katrina Tantoco Lobregat, his sister-in-law, Dina Arroyo Tantoco, then serenaded Crickette with the song “Isn’t She Lovely?” by Stevie Wonder.

Donnie followed up the song number with a dance number to Kool and the Gang’s “Get Down on It” with his daughter, Camille, and his childhood friends, Manuel Alberto and Rene Domingo.

One more surprise for Crickette. ???? Late post since needed to make sure I wasn't violating the performers' copyright. ????
