It may have been a bit dreary in London on May 29, but that didn't stop the revelry at Buckingham Palace. Yesterday, the Queen hosted one of her signature garden parties, in which guests, who have made significant contributions to their communities, meet with members of the royal family. In addition to the British monarch, Prince Harry, Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were all on-hand to mingle with attendees.

Fortunately, the rain seemed to stop right as the event really got going, but bad weather is a serious concern for the Queen on garden party days.

"Well, you do rather hope the sun shines as when you invite 8,000 people to have tea on your lawn," she has reportedly said. "It can be a bit of a worry."
