The children of the late Chona Recto-Kasten waxed nostalgic at the launch of La Divina: The Life and Style of Chona Recto-Kasten, a coffee-table book produced in tribute to the late society grande dame, at the Ayala Museum. Authored by Kasten’s daughter, Techie Ysmael-Bilbao, the tome is edited by Jose Mari Ugarte and jointly published by National Book Store, Anvil Publishing, and the Philippine Star. Bilbao and a few of her closest family members, including brother Louie Ysmael, took to the podium to regale the audience with stories about Kasten.
