On August 16, a police-led anti-drug operation in Caloocan resulted in the death of 17-year-old Kian Delos Santos. Police reported that Kian was a drug runner who engaged in a shootout with police. However, public outrage was stoked when a day later, CCTV footage and eyewitness reports contradicted the statements of police. Despite being bombarded with plot spoilers, episode leaks, and plot theories which turned out to be spoilers themselves, we are still excited and bracing for the final episode of Game of Thrones Season 7. The following are some questions we want to be answered before the season ends.
Why are Arya and Sansa squabbling over petty things? After all the character development that the two have seriously undergone in the last six seasons, after all the effort they have spent going back to Winterfell, it is quite disappointing to see the two sisters engage in silly quarrels. Well, perhaps they’re not that silly, but when Winter is high and a dead army is at your doorstep, loyalty and family allegiances should be the last thing to fight about, right? We expect them to straighten out this silly digression in the final episode.

Forbes Releases the List of Richest Filipinos
This week, Forbes released its list of the top 50 richest people in the Philippines. This year’s list of top 10 richest is decorated with familiar faces. Henry Sy Sr., the 93-year-old mall magnate, is 2017’s richest Filipino, according to the list. His wealth of $18 billion is driven by his businesses in mall development and operations, and real estate.
Second on the list with a net worth of $5.5 billion is John Gokongwei, Jr., who is the founder of JG Summit, the conglomerate that has interests in food manufacturing, telecommunications, air transportation, and banking, among others. Under JG Summit are Universal Robina Corporation, which is one of the leading food and beverage companies in Asia, Robinsons Retail, Cebu Pacific, and Summit Media, the country’s leading magazine and digital publisher.
The third spot on the list is occupied by Enrique Razon, Jr., who heads International Container Terminal Services, Inc. or ICTSI, the leading terminal operator in the country. His terminal business traces its roots in 1916 when his grandfather began to run a port in Manila. After World War II, his father rebuilt the business, but it was Enrique Razon, Jr. who brought it to international success, earning him a net worth of $4.4 billion.
