The newest installment in the Ocean's movie franchise opens next month, and while we're enamored with the star-studded, all-female cast—Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter—we've also got our eye on the film's gorgeous jewels, designed exclusively by Cartier.

In the movie, Debbie Ocean (Danny Ocean's sister, played by Sandra Bullock) assembles a band of women to carry out one of the greatest thefts of all-time: stealing the legendary Toussaint necklace, a diamond stunner which is to be worn by actress Daphne Kluger (played by Anne Hathaway) during the annual Met Gala.

Cartier designed the Toussaint necklace specifically for the film.

While the characters and their heist might be fictional, the necklace is not. Its name is a nod to Jeanne Toussaint, Cartier’s creative director during the 1930s, and Jacques Cartier designed the original for the Maharaja of Nawanagar in 1931.

The original necklace, which included the famous Queen of Holland diamond, was designed in 1931 for the Maharaja of Nawanagar by Jacques Cartier.

Though it no longer exists, archival drawings and photographs were used as inspiration for the jewel in the film, which was measured specifically for Anne Hathaway. Since it was originally designed for a man, the necklace had to be sized down to fit Hathaway.

For the film, Cartier adjusted the necklace to Anne Hathaway's measurements.

Ocean’s 8 opens in theaters on June 8.
