Only at the brand's Solaire branch will Philippine clients have exclusive access to the French luxury label's ready-to-wear line for men, its luxurious fine jewelry line, and a charming gifting collection.

Guests sipped cocktails and were treated to special presentations by Louis Vuitton artisans. To celebrate the store opening, a Filipino icon—the jeepney— was hand-painted onto one of Louis Vuitton’s flagship products, the Alzer trunk. A Petite Malle, one of creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere’s iconic designs, was also assembled live in exotic crocodile leather.

Guests were then led to an after-party full of surprises, highlighted by a seven-foot motion activated interactive wall with projections of Manila’s skyline. Music was provided by DJ extraordinaire Katrina Razon, followed by a surprise appearance by electronic DJ duo Flight Facilities.

The affair was well-attended by Manila’s most stylish including Barbara Aboitiz, Christian and Stephanie Gonzalez, Mariana Zobel-Aboitiz, Gabbi Floirendo, Monica Floirendo, Patxi and Sofia Elizalde with daughters Bea and Cristina, and Vania Romoff. Other bold-faced names included Kim Jones, Solenn Heussaff, Janine Gutierrez, Asia’s Next Top Model winner Maureen Wroblewitz, Sam Milby, Gabbi Garcia, Nadine Lustre, and James Reid all outfitted in Louis Vuitton.
