President of Eye Society Neelam Gopwani reveals what's on her shopping list.

Regular activities
Gym in the mornings, long work hours, then either dinner with a client/supplier or dropping by one of our new stores to check on its development.

Work essentials
Classic black single-sole heels, a silk blouse, and Halston skinny ankle pants; the occasional turtleneck to add a touch of classic luxe to the outfit.

Personal style
Effortless chic. To be minimalist is my goal but always with a pop of color with either my bag or shoes.

Favorite brands
3.1 Phillip Lim, Alice and Olivia, Carven, Nicholas, and Derek Lam.

Favorite shopping destinations
Selfridges, Saks.com, Hongkong’s Granville Road, Via Montenapoleone Milano, and Asos.com.

Fashion inspirations
The working woman. My inspiration is dressing to feel empowered, mixed with comfort for additional sass. Amal Clooney; Ruth Porat, CFO of Google; Safra Catz, CEO of Oracle; and Kathleen Kennedy, producer of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, are my fashion icons as they dress to impress while keeping it professional.

Fashion philosophy
Simplicity is key; your personality isn’t the first thing people see.

Your shopping list

The perfect bomber jacket, a tailored trenchcoat, and steel-capped boots. I am all about fall weather!

Skimmers by Prada; evening must-haves from Chanel and Miu Miu

Latest fashion investments
A Louis Vuitton Petite Malle bag and a gilded military peacoat from Helmut Lang.

Prized possessions
I’m all about collecting shoes and bags! Miu Miu crystal heel pumps and a Chanel white pearl-covered boy bag are a few of the pieces I’ve collected over time.

I can’t live without…
A silk scarf as I can use it for all four seasons and as a headband, belt, and bag accessory; my perfect pair of jeans; Guerlain bronzing powder for an instant glow anytime; my Jose Eber curling iron; and of course, Scholl Party Feet gel cushions in order to last in heels all day.
