August is upon us.

For fervent shoppers that only means one thing: The fall collections will soon arrive in stores. Out of all the shows from last February, there was a lot of buzz surrounding Alessandro Michele's eerie yet enchanting presentation for Gucci. The eclecticism was there, but this time, Michele added an interesting mix of other elements from the clothes down to the accessories. We've rounded up the accessories that elevated the looks from the ethereal show.

The location was set up as a hospital operating room, complete with LED lights.

The walls and floors were done in PVC, the doors featured panic bars, and guests sat in plastic chairs that resembled a waiting room.

Aside from the set, Gucci pushed the boundaries with 'severed heads...'

...While another model carried a baby dragon. The fantastical accessories were created in collaboration with Makinarium, a Rome-based production center.

The show was attended by the likes of T&C cover star Chloë Sevigny.

She wore a Gucci long-sleeve jumpsuit from the Spring 2018 collection and paired it with the Ophidia mini bag and patent high-heel strappy sandals.

Also spotted was French singer-songwriter Lou Doillon.

The daughter of Jane Birkin embodied Michele's interpretation of rockstar chic.

And Belle du Jour producer Countess Marina Cicogna.

The Oscar-winning film producer previously starred in the Gucci Cruise 2018 campaign.

This season, Gucci is going full-on retro with vintage-style shapes.

This crocodile bamboo top handle bag, in particular, caught our eye.

Several bags feature a bejeweled version of Gucci's Animalia motif.

The Disco, one of Gucci's most popular designs, was updated with quilted metallic leather.

Some new shapes debuted at the fashion show.

Like this vanity-style bag that features a bamboo handle and the classic Supreme print.

And this polka-dotted, floral-printed train case that's accented with Gucci's web stripe.

This suede chain tote would be the perfect daily workhorse.

But we're partial to Gucci's bucket bags.

The suede version looks like something Jackie O would've loved to tote.
