Last night, it was announced that Hubert de Givenchy passed away in Paris at the age of 91. The iconic designer, who founded the house of Givenchy in 1952, was known for his elegant, sophisticated creations that influenced fashion for over five decades. But it was his relationship with Audrey Hepburn that took his legacy to the next level—and hers, too. The designer and actress forged a special bond that lasted the duration of both their careers, shaping their works in Hollywood and the fashion industry. Hepburn, who served as Givenchy's greatest muse from the '50s until her death in 1993, wore the label in some of her most famous roles including Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sabrina and Funny Face. As we remember the late designer, take a look back at his special relationship with the Hollywood icon.
