What are you currently busy with?

My job at the Olive Tree Corporation, an off shoot of my parents’ company, which manufactures home linens. I am in charge of mostly everything, from designing our collections to marketing, social media, branding, packaging, and even selling at our pop-ups. I also do a bit of photography here and there; it’s my first love. I like being busy. I can’t sit still and do nothing, I feel like I’m wasting my time.

Your sources of inspiration?

I love the arts! It can be in the form of photography, painting, sculpture, music, movies, literature, fashion, or mixed media. I like to stay curious and learn how things work, how they were created, and how they affect the world.

“In the morning I wash my face with something mild, moisturize with vitamin E, and put on makeup when the day calls for it.”

And you're sporty too.

Yes, I was an athlete practically my whole life. I did gymnastics, played golf, and danced in high school but I fell in love with softball the most. I was with the varsity team for all of my years at De La Salle University and was captain the last two years before graduating. During softball season, I still coach part-time. I can’t seem to shake off the bug.

What first impression do you hope to make?

I want to be perceived as someone who is classy but fun. I really like keeping things simple and natural but with pops of color. Sometimes when you’re too made up, it gives people the impression that you’re trying to hide your face.

“With eye makeup, I usually stick to neutral colors so different shades of browns and when I feel adventurous I try greens and shimmery gold shades or darken the look with black. For the lips, almost anything goes!”

What other dreams are you in the process of fulfilling?

I want to take classes or a short course abroad either in art, design, or further studies in photography in Europe.

What would you never compromise on?

Dreams, aspirations, and beliefs… also well-shaped brows and a good haircut!

Best beauty advice you've ever received?

That what works for other people—mainly celebrities and supermodels— won’t always look good on you.

Your personal definition of beauty?

Finding a good balance of who you are and who you want to be and allowing people to see that in how you carry yourself.
