What inspires you?
Many things… books, people, nature. I get challenged when I have a project and want it to be successful. I become so focused. I believe I succeed and make things happen because I try so hard. A for effort, creativity, and resourcefulness.

What impression do you hope to leave through your personal look?
Hopefully something positive, impactful, and charming.

Most memorable beauty faux pas?
When I was still in school, there was a time that punk rock was in. I had makeup done for a party and I had lightning bolts on my cheeks and almost black lips. I thought I was so cool!

Beauty icons?
I like confident women my age, like Carla Bruni and Monica Bellucci, the Bond girl.

What is the best beauty advice you've ever received?
That happy girls are the prettiest girls.

What makes you happy?
Oh, many things from something simple to something grand. Flowers generally do. My dogs. My family, friends, work, food, a good book, music, walking in a beautiful space…

What would you never compromise on?
Friendship, family, and integrity.

What is your personal definition of beauty?
Beauty is more than the shell. It’s the confidence the goes with it. Also, kindness, happiness, and grace make one beautiful.
