The fifth annual Town & Country Philanthropy Summit featured a number of panels ranging from the future of cancer care to a discussion on gun violence in the United States. Fox Business Network anchor Liz Claman moderated the "Conscious Capitalism" panel, a discussion on how companies and individuals can embrace philanthropy as a core value.

Panelists included Dave Gilboa, the co-founder and co-CEO of Warby Parker, Hildy Kuryk, the founder of Artemis Strategies, Alexandre Mars, the CEO and founder, Epic Foundation, and Kenn Ricci, the chairman of Flexjet and principal of Directional Aviation Capital.

"When we launched Warby Parker we were excited about creating a for-profit business that did good in the world," Dave Gilboa said during the panel. "And we realized if we wanted to be able to attract and keep the most talented people in the world, we had to embed a social mission."
