The 32-year-old actor met Hilton at an Oscar party at the Chateau Marmont almost eight years ago. While Zylka is best-known for his role on HBO's The Leftovers, Hilton might be most famous for, well, being famous. The great-granddaughter of Hilton Hotels founder Conrad Hilton starred in the reality television series The Simple Life, which premiered in 2003.
Since then, Hilton has released a Billboard Hot 100 single ("Stars Are Blind"), starred in several spin-off reality shows (Paris Hilton's My New BFF, Paris Hilton's British Best Friend, Paris Hilton's Dubai BFF, and The World According to Paris), and embarked on a career as a DJ. She debuted her talents at the São Paulo Pop Music Festival in 2012, and in 2014, she confirmed to the New York Post that she's been paid as much as $1 million for a single set.
While her grandfather Barron Hilton announced his intention to donate to charity 97 percent of his fortune, which stood at $2.3 billion in 2007, Paris has done very well on her own. When Australian radio DJs asked her in November about what it felt like to be worth more than her parents, the 36-year-old pointed out that her retail empire included 50 stores, 19 product lines, and sales from 23 different fragrances exceeding $2.5 billion. One of them is reportedly the second-most successful celebrity fragrance line of all time, only behind one created by Elizabeth Taylor.
All in all, Hilton has amassed a fortune of about $300 million, celebritynetworth.com reports.
