Living to nearly 100 is a feat—but it can be lonely if you don't still have loving friends and family around. Luckily for 99-year-old Jenna Welch, that isn't an issue.

Jenna Bush Hager, the former first daughter and current Today Showcorrespondent, just posted about visiting Welch on Instagram. The first slide features a photo of Bush Hager holding her maternal grandmother's hand and a second shows her leaning in to kiss Welch on the cheek.

"Holding onto my namesake 99-year-old, Jenna Welch," Bush Hager wrote in a comment. "She never graduated from college but never stopped learning: she taught me every constellation in the night sky and about beautiful foreign lands she would never get [to] visit. I loved seeing her today in Midland."

Bush Hager has had many opportunities recently to reflect on her family. She and her sister launched a book, Sisters First, last year. The tome details stories of the former first children's lives, from watching their grandfather become president in their early childhood to living their adolescence in the spotlight.

The book was recently re-leased with a late addition: a chapter about their other grandmother, Barbara Bush. The former first lady passed away this past April. At the time, Bush Hager took to Instagram to share her grief.

"Couldn’t love this woman more," she wrote. "Our world, particularly my families is so much better because she’s in it."

Fortunately, it seems that Bush Hager is making the most of her time with her maternal grandmother.
