She knows how to put up a fight.

We all know J. K. Rowling has a knack for writing about a certain determined young wizard. Turns out, she's also quite adept at the Twitter burn.

On Tuesday, a Twitter user told Rowling that they would "burn all of her books and movies," to which Rowling delivered a characteristically fiery response.

Would you like some thick orange burn-healing paste for that, Twitter user? The following day, someone who claimed to be a fan for 17 years also wrote that they had burned all of her books. Rowling took care of that also:

These angry tweets are, presumably, responses to Rowling's outspoken political beliefs, but the optics of burning books in response to someone who has written movingly about the rise of fascism (albeit wizard fascism) is tantamount to asking for it.

You'd think by now people would know not to mess with Rowling on Twitter, given that she's a renowned expert at taking down alt-right trolls and has been facing off against religious opposition for decades.
