Tragedy struck Hollywood and the rest of the world when actress Carrie Fisher, popularly known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars films, passed away before the New Year. The sorrow immediately doubled, as her mother Singin’ In The Rain star Debbie Reynolds, followed a day after. You might not be ready for this, but HBO plans to move up the release date of a poignant documentary called Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds in the wake of their passing. They plan to release it by January 7.

The touching documentary explores their relationship as mother and daughter and “a story of the family’s complicated love.” In the film, we see vintage clips of the duo and their family with more recent footage shot in 2014 and 2015.
