When it comes to prestigious alumni, some schools tout their politicians. Others pride themselves on their artists, actors, and humanitarians. But only a select few universities can recognize former students who have gone on to make billions.

As part of Forbes' annual ranking of America's richest, the publication parsed out which universities have produced the most billionaires (based on the undergrad alma maters of the country's 400 wealthiest individuals).

Once again topping the list is the University of Pennsylvania, with 18 people in the so-called "three commas club." Members of that elite league include Laurene Powell Jobs (the widow of Steve Jobs), Elon Musk, and, of course, President Donald Trump.

But wealthy alums aren't exclusive to the Ivy League; Stanford University came in second in the ranking with 13 billionaire graduates, most of them in the technology space, such as Whatsapp founder Brian Acton and Bobby Murphy, who co-founded Snapchat with Stanford dropout (and fellow billionaire) Evan Spiegel.

Yale, USC, Harvard, Columbia, the University of Michigan, Dartmouth, Duke, and Cornell round out the top ten, though it should be noted that only graduates of these are counted. Many of America's richest people (notably Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, who both attended Harvard, are dropouts). See the full list below and the whole story over on Forbes.com.

1. University of Pennsylvania (18 graduates)
2. Stanford University (13 graduates)

6. Columbia University (eight graduates)
