Princess Margaret's Grandson Sam Chatto Completed His Yoga Teacher Training in India

The 22-year-old seems to have had a very adventurous year.

Sam Chatto had quite the year, at least according to his Instagram. The 22-year-old, 24th in line for the throne as Princess Margaret's grandson, posted a tripartite year-end recap reflecting on his travels.

As he hadn't been active on the platform since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding back in May, Chatto used the new year as an opportunity to get his followers up to speed. "Where have I been?!" he begins. "I spent six weeks in the very north of Scotland immersed in pottery and ceramics, being taught by the most patient and passionate potter. Clay consumed my every waking hour and I am so excited to see what I can achieve this year!"

In his second and third posts, he focused on his six weeks in India. Four of those were dedicated to training to be a yoga teacher. "Although I have no plans of teaching anytime soon," he clarified in a comment, "it was an incredibly eye opening experience which I am so deeply grateful for."

Nearly another whole week was spent hiking in the Himalayas in India, per Chatto's final post. "We spent six days totally connected to nature, detached from WiFi, and in awe of the sheer beauty and complexity of the natural world," he wrote.

According to Hello!, Chatto is now the only known member of the royal family qualified to teach yoga (although Meghan Markle is an avowed fan of the practice).

Still, he wasn't alone in his training—according to his girlfriend Sophie Pipe's Instagram, she was there for the journey as well.
