Immediately following the announcement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement, Kensington Palace has shared the statements of those close to the royal couple.

The Queen and Prince Philip are reportedly “delighted for the couple and wish them every happiness.”

According to Elliot Wagland of the London Evening Standard, Prince Charles, while on a visit to Poundbury in Dorset, said he was “thrilled” and “very happy indeed.”

Prince Harry's brother and sister-in-law, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, had nothing but love for couple.
