The Queen Just Had the Cutest Thing to Say About Princess Charlotte

The young royal is apparently quite the boss of her household.

Prince George may be the oldest child in Will and Kate's growing family, but according to Queen Elizabeth, it's two-year-old Princess Charlotte who calls the shots.

Over the weekend, the Queen was giving a signed bible to 10-year-old Emily Clay, who won the book "for a school religious education project," reports Eastern Daily Press. During the meeting, the Queen reportedly spoke with Clay about her project and her schooling, before asking if she "looked after" her younger sister Hadleigh. Clay's mother Ellen responded, "It’s the other way around."

To which the Queen replied, "It’s like that with Charlotte and George."

This isn't the first time it's been suggested that young Princess Charlotte is the more assertive sibling. Back in March of 2017, Duchess Kate spoke about Charlotte's confidence during an event with fellow mom Samantha Burge.

"[The Duchess] said that Charlotte is growing up really fast. She is the one in charge," Burge revealed.

"We have both got two-year-olds and they are ruling the roost. It was a bit of a mummy chat," Burge said of the conversation.

According to People, the Queen will remain at her country estate Sandringham until early February. She also recently appeared in a documentary on the Smithsonian about her Coronation, where she spoke about the historic day for the first time. More on that here.
