For just £375,000 (or $481,259, for us in the States) plus a monthly rent of £34,450, Princess Margaret's former country home could be yours.

The 15-acre property came into the royal family's history through Princess Margaret's one-time husband, Antony Armstrong-Jones. Plas Dinas Country House was owned by his family for over 200 years before it became a rural escape for him and Margaret.

In the early years of their marriage, it served a practical purpose, as Armstrong-Jones was involved in the planning for Prince Charles's investiture ceremony at the nearby Caernarfon Castle. Afterward, the couple continued to use the home as a getaway. According to the Mirror, they were around often enough that locals gave Princess Margaret a nickname: "Maggie Bont."

In the years since, the home has been converted into a charming hotel, featuring 10 unique en-suite bedrooms for guests, as well as a restaurant. On its website, the hotel plays up its connections to royalty, noting that much of the home's "family portraits, memorabilia and original furniture" remains untouched. It's currently for sale through Christie & Co.

Plas Dinas is also tied to the royal family through Prince William, who reportedly visited the property during his tenure as a search and rescue pilot in the RAF Valley. At the time, the hotel's co-owner and the chef were delighted.

"The house is still owned by the [Armstrong-Jones] family, and we have lots of memorabilia and portraits from [Princess Margaret's time] here, so the visit of Prince William just adds to the royal link," he said to North Wales Live. "I’m glad he enjoyed his meal."
