Princess Madeleine Joins Instagram With an Adorable New Photo of Her Baby Girl

It’s been a busy few days for royals on Instagram. First, Princess Eugenie launched her official account with a candid video about her scoliosis and a never-before-seen photo from her engagement shoot. Now, Princess Madeleine has joined the platform with a sweet image of her new baby girl.

The photo shows the newborn Princess Adrienne meeting Madeleine's other two children, Princess Leonore and Prince Nicolas, and the caption reads “Leonore and Nicolas welcoming their little sister home”

Princess Adrienne was born on March 9 at Danderyd Hospital near Stockholm, and her full name, Adrienne Josephine Alice, Princess of Sweden and Duchess of Blekinge, was revealed this morning.

King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden are thrilled with the latest addition to the royal family. "We are happy for the arrival of Princess Madeleine and Mr. Christopher O’Neill’s third child, and grateful that all has gone well for mother and child," their Majesties said in a statement about their new grandchild.
