Princess Eugenie Just Shared an Inside Look of the Royal Air Force Celebration on Instagram

She wasn't on the royal balcony, but she still watched the flyover.

Several members of the royal family, including the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the Queen, and Princess Eugenie, are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force today. The festivities began with a service at Westminster Abbey and were continued as guests made their way to Buckingham Palace to watch the flyover of the iconic airplanes.

Although Princess Eugenie wasn't on the royal balcony at today's event, she took to her Instagram account, which she created in March, to share an insider look at the celebration.

In the short video, you can see the historic planes forming the shape of the number 100 as they make their way over the Palace. The 28-year-old royal seems to have enjoyed the event, stating, "what a show London got today," in her caption.

Eugenie has shared several intimate Instagram posts since starting her social media account, allowing royal family fanatics to follow along with select snippets of her life. Some of what she chooses to share is more serious, such as her post on Scoliosis Awareness Day, a condition the royal has herself, while others are more cheerful. The photo of her and Princess Beatrice as young bridesmaids, which she shared to mark the start of her wedding planning, is a more lighthearted example.

Other notable events from today's Royal Air Force celebration include a speech made by the Queen which paid tribute to her father, King George VI, and a surprise appearance made by Kate Middleton.

Despite Prince Louis's Christening taking place only yesterday, the Duchess of Cambridge also attended today's event, alongside Prince William. The pair joined other royal attendees on the balcony to watch the monumental flyover, while others, like Eugenie, enjoyed the occasion from below.
