See Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice's Style at the Queen's Garden Party
At the third of the Queen's summer garden parties, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie made an appearance. And although it was threatening to rain—and many of the royals came armed with umbrellas, just in case—the sisters managed to dress for summer weather.
Eugenie went for neutral hues, pairing what appeared pleated cream dress with a beige top. A matching feathered fascinator, along with a pair of pointed silver stilettos, completed the princess's outfit.
For her part, Beatrice gave off summer picnic vibes in a floral, flouncy dress; her woven bag only added to the effect. A maroon headpiece, similar in shape to Eugenie's, topped off the look.
Beatrice and Eugenie arrive with Prince Harry, the Queen, and more members of the royal family.
The sisters joined the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Prince Harry, and Queen Elizabeth herself as the event's royal hosts. The garden parties are intended to celebrate people who are making a difference in their communities, and the royals take time to speak to as many of the thousands of attendees as they can.
Earlier in the day, guests were photographed holding umbrellas as they waited to enter the Buckingham Palace grounds. Thankfully, the weather seemed to clear up, at least by the time the royal family arrived.

The Queen has previously expressed her concern about the garden parties' vulnerability to rain. At the second garden party this summer, she mentioned to a guest that the weather was indeed a concern for her during these outdoor events. "Well, you do rather hope the sun shines as when you invite 8,000 people to have tea on your lawn," she said, per People. "It can be a bit of a worry."
