Over the weekend, Princess Eugenie shared a never-before-seen family photograph on Instagram. The picture shows a young Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice sitting in the laps of their parents, Prince Andrew, and Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson. The sweet throwback was aptly captioned, “90s flashback with Bea and parents to when my father commanded HMS Cottesmore.”
In the snapshot, the two sisters are wearing matching white dresses embroidered around the waist with "HMS Cottesmore," the name of a patrol vessel in the British Royal Navy. While Andrew is now a working royal, carrying out official engagements and representing the Queen and Great Britain abroad, he served in the Navy for two decades and holds the rank of honorary .

Unlike the Duchesses of Cambridge and Sussex, Princess Eugenie is allowed to have a personal Instagram account because she is not a working royal, and this isn't the first time she has shared a previously unseen photo. Earlier this year, the Queen's granddaughter posted a behind-the-scenes look at her engagement portrait shoot.
And since then, she has posted several other throwback photos with her sister, like this one of Eugenie and Beatrice on Easter in 1992.
With an upcoming wedding, it seems that Princess Eugenie is reminiscing on her younger days. She and her fiancé Jack Brooksbank will tie the knot at Windsor Castle in October. In the meantime, they're living at Kensington Palace, just a stone's throw away from her cousin Harry and close friend Meghan.
