Ahead of her and her husband's expected trip to Balmoral Castlea residence in the Scottish Highlands that the royals travel to at the end of the summer—Princess Eugenie stepped out for a surprise engagement. But even if her public appearance was unexpected, her outfit was familiar.

The royal rewore a printed green dress from Alice & Olivia, paired with nude heels and a gold bracelet. According to the Daily Mail, Eugenie first debuted the look in 2017 for a book launch at the House of Lords, and wore it again last year at Prince Christian of Hanover's royal wedding to designer Alessandra de Osma. That time, she styled it with a Chloé bag and stylish sunglasses.

This time around, the event was tied to one of the charitable causes that Eugenie is involved with. The princess went to Westminster Abbey as a part of her anti-slavery advocacy, meeting with John Cotton Richmond, the United States' Ambassador-at-Large for Combating Trafficking in Persons, among others.

She and others were also given a tour of the Abbey by the Canon of Westminster, Reverend Anthony Ball. The group took particular notice of a statue of William Wilberforce, whose remains were interned in the Abbey in 1833. Wilberforce was an MP who fought for the abolition of slavery, and after decades of work, he and others managed to pass the abolition bill in the early 1800s.

Princess Eugenie co-founded the Anti-Slavery Collective with her friend Julia de Boinville in 2017, and since then, has regularly attended events and delivered speeches about the cause.
