Princess Diana's Niece Remembers Her Famous Aunt (But Frankly, She Doesn't Want to Talk About It)
She's "wary of saying anything."

Regardless of her connection to the British throne, Lady Kitty Spencer is, in many ways, a typical 26-year-old. She's active on Instagram, is a fan of Downton Abbey, and loves fashion.

Definitive proof that she's "one of us"? Kitty posts cat pictures:

Still, it's hard to ignore the "Lady" title and her strong connections to the royal family; Kitty looks just like her late aunt, Princess Diana.

In an interview last year with Vanity Fair, Spencer spoke openly about growing up in South Africa, her modeling career, and returning to London. "I have a relaxed attitude toward [modeling]," she says. "I appreciate that it takes me to new places and I get to dress up and wear beautiful things and live in a little bit of a fairy tale for a day."

However, despite her candor, there was one subject on which she was tight-lipped: the royal family. When asked her opinion on the American fascination with the royals, she said she was "wary of saying anything." She doesn't discuss them as a rule.

But she did speak lovingly of her royal relative. "I was so young [when Diana was alive]," she said. "There are only a few memories, but special memories and happy memories, and I'm so lucky to have those."
