Prince George's mischievous ways have been caught on camera, and now Prince William has predicted that Princess Charlotte might be a bit of a handful when she gets older.

The Duke of Cambridge was visiting Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool when he was asked by a patient about the young royals.

"I think she's going to be trouble when she's older," William told 55-year-old patient Pagan Tordengrav in the emergency department (via Hello). "All fathers say that."

Speaking to patient Teresa Jones, 87, about Prince George's recent first day at school, William added: "Most of the parents are in floods of tears and the children are absolutely fine.

"George rules the roost and Charlotte isn't far behind."

William had previously described two-year-old Charlotte as "a little joy of heaven", before admitting: "At the same time, it is more responsibility, looking after two little ones, especially when George is around.

"He's a little monkey."

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently confirmed that they are expecting their third child.

A statement released by Kensington Palace palace said that the royal couple was "very pleased" to announce the news and that the Queen and other members of the Royal Family are "delighted".

The Duchess had hinted a future pregnancy during her Royal European tour with Prince William in Poland a few months ago. When a royal well-wisher handed them a gift for a newborn, Kate had quipped: "We will just have to have more babies!"

Kate, who is rumored to be less than three months pregnant, is currently suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum and is on bed rest.
