Why Prince Harry Won't Have a Bachelor Party

He'll participate in this debaucherous British tradition instead.

Prince Harry may be just a few months away from his wedding to fiancé Meghan Markle, but the former royal party boy will almost certainly make the most of his final days as a single man with one last celebration.

That night (or more likely weekend) will have all the characteristics of a bachelor party—copious amounts of booze and an all-male crew—but it'll go by a British moniker: stag do.

Info is scarce about what Harry has planned (though late-night host James Corden has made it known he hopes to be invited), and we might not hear any details until after the fact. But Prince William, who is pegged to be Harry's best man or "supporter," will probably orchestrate the event.

Back in 2011, Harry reportedly planned William's "secret" party alongside William's friend Guy Pelly at an estate a few hours outside of London.

"We believe that William had a house party effectively within the grounds of a big stately home owned by friend Ed Van Cutsen, he's one of the ushers at the wedding," ABC News contributor Duncan Larcombe said at the time.

"He did everything he could to stay out of the public eye."

It's likely Harry will try to do the same.
