As soon as Kensington Palace confirmed that Prince William would serve as his brother's best man at Harry's wedding ceremony on May 19, 2018, we knew adorable moments of brotherly love were to come. Now that Harry and Meghan are properly hitched and Prince William served his duty with expertise, let's take a look back at Harry and Will's cutest brotherly moments of the day—and, take a look back at a few highlights of the brothers at Will and Kate's wedding back in 2011.

A SURPRISE APPEARANCE THE NIGHT BEFORE HARRY'S WEDDING

Will and Harry greeted well-wishers outside Windsor Castle just a few hours before Harry married Meghan Markle. Prince Harry wore a gray jacket with a white button-up and slacks, while his brother, Prince William, wore a navy jacket.

At some point during their walkabout, a fan gave Harry an adorable stuffed bear wearing a red sweater. He held it for the rest of their surprise appearance.

On the morning of his wedding, Prince Harry arrived at St. George's Chapel with Prince William by his side. The groom and his best man walked to the chapel, greeting fans on the grounds of Windsor Castle while en route.

WAVING TO THE CROWD

Both Prince William and Prince Harry were in good spirits the morning of the wedding. While most royal weddings do not typically include a best man (in England, that role is typically known as a 'supporter'), both Harry and William both broke royal protocol to make sure their brother was by their side on their respective wedding days.

The royals sat just ahead of the rest of the royal family in St. George's Chapel. Once the ceremony started, William took a seat in the row behind the groom. He sat next to his father, Prince Charles. His wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, was two seats over, next to Camilla.

The groom and his best man were facing away from the aisle and toward the altar during the bride's procession down the aisle. The bride walked down part of the aisle on her own, and was later joined by Prince Charles to walk down the aisle of the Quire.
