The Palace released a statement about the matter on Saturday morning. "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will move to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate early next year as they prepare for the arrival of their first child. The couple
The Sun's royal correspondent Emily Andrews first broke the news via Twitter over the weekend.
As she reported, the cottage "needs major building work to turn it back into a luxury family home, boasting 10 bedrooms & a new nursery plus space for a gym & yoga studio. Currently, it’s been chopped up into five units where palace staff have been living. Harry, Meghan & baby Sussex hope to move in next year."
Andrews also reported that Harry and Meghan 'will keep their Cotswold pad as their “country home' while Frogmore Cottage will be their main official home," and that Frogmore Cottage is a gift from the Queen.
Frogmore House, which shares its grounds with Harry and Meghan's new home, clearly holds a special place for the couple. It's where the couple took their engagement photos, and where they hosted their more intimate evening wedding reception back in May.
