Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Sent the Sweetest Replies to a Class of Primary School Students
hen a schoolteacher encouraged her whole class to write letters to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, to congratulate the couple on Meghan's pregnancy, she likely never expected the thoughtful response they'd all receive.
Instructor Sarah Davis and her students at Dolphins Class primary school, located in the English town Stratford-Upon-Avon, were thrilled to receive not just a single response from Kensington Palace (where Meghan and Harry's royal household is currently located), but one for each child, as well as a letter for Mrs. Davis herself.
The letter to the teacher, sent by royal staffer Claudia Spens, features a heartfelt thank you on behalf of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Dear Mrs. Davis,
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have asked me to thank you for your very kind letter enclosing the letters from the children in Dolphins Class.
Their Royal Highnesses were immensely touched that you took the trouble to write, as well as organise the children to write such lovely letters. Please find enclosed individual replies for each child and I would be most grateful if you could distribute them on my behalf.
This letter comes with The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's warmest thanks and very best wishes.
The entire school seems to be excited about the personalized letters, as the Dolphins Class Twitter account shared photos of the letter to Mrs. Davis, as well as the messages addressed to each child. "Look what arrived in the mail this morning," the tweet reads, with an added smiley emoji for good measure.
