Prince Harry Says He "Can’t Imagine Life" Without His Son Archie
Proud new dad Prince Harry is in Oxford today, but his newborn son isn't far from his thoughts.
Early on May 14 during a visit to Oxford Children’s Hospital, Harry told mum-of-two Amy Scullard from Aylesbury that he couldn’t imagine life without Archie, who was born last Monday.
“He said he’s getting used to the baby and how Archie has fitted into family life," Scullard, whose three-year-old son Emmett is in remission from testicular cancer, told reporters. "He said he just feels part of the family and he can’t imagine life without his son."

One of the first photos of the new family of three, taken just days after Meghan have birth to Archie.
After visiting at the OXSRAD Sports and Leisure Centre which Princess Diana opened 30 years ago, Harry made his final stop of the day at the Barton Neighbourhood Centre. The center is a hub for local residents with a doctor’s surgery, food bank, café, and youth club.
Harry arrived to huge cheers from crowds waving Union Jack flags and spent several minutes chatting to the crowds. It seemed that every pupil from Bayards Hill Primary School had made him a card and the prince struggled to carry them all, passing several to his private secretary as he went down the line of children.
Prince Harry struggles to hold on to all the cards he received in Oxford.
Harry told school children, “you guys have been very busy” as he received the cards. He was also overheard saying, “When I’m awake at 4 o’clock in the morning I’ll read all these.”
Nine-year-old Mathias was one of the kids in the crowd.
"I gave him a card for Archie," he tells T&C. "We said congratulations on the baby."
Divina Brown, whose son Jamie, 9, made Harry a card, was pleased to see the Prince so soon after his son was born.
“It’s really nice that he’s kept the engagement... To take the time out to come and to speak with everyone and shake hands, it’s really nice,” she tells T&C.
“He said thank you for coming... We all love Harry. The children were so excited, a real prince.”
