Back in 2011, Telegraph reported that Archbishop of York John Sematu supported Prince William and Kate Middleton’s decision to move in together prior to their wedding. This was his way of recognizing modern couples’ options to test compatibility before marriage.

Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle seem to be testing the waters themselves. They are reportedly going to be moving in together at an apartment in Kensington Palace. Renovations are ongoing and Prince Harry has been checking in on the progress regularly, according to the Daily Mail. Buckingham Palace has not yet commented on the move or the possibility of a royal engagement.

It has been 10 months since Prince Harry and Markle’s first meeting. According to Time magazine, the two were in Toronto in May 2016. He was at the Invictus Games and she was filming for the television series Suits. They are reported to have met at a charity event during the same period.

Their apartment is reportedly near where Prince William and his family are settling down. The question now is whether or not Prince Harry and Markle will set up the same kind of security in their new apartment. Earlier this year, it was reported that Prince William made sure to have tall conifers around the perimeter of his family's new residence. This is to prevent outsiders and celebrity photographers from taking a peek into their private lives.
