14 Sweet Photos of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis Taken By Kate Middleton
It's an understatement to say that the British royal family knows the importance of a photo opp, and milestones are rarely left undocumented. But given how seriously the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge take their children's privacy it only makes sense that when it comes to their kids, they like to control the narrative whenever possible.
And so, Kate, an amateur photographer and former art history student, is often credited with taking the portraits of her children that are released on birthdays, the first day of school, and other special occasions.
“Kate is a keen photographer and has enjoyed developing her skills over the years,” a source told royal reporter Omid Scobie. “She’s looking forward to sharing more of her photos over the months ahead—including on the @KensingtonRoyal Instagram account.”
With that in mind, here are 14 adorable photos the Duchess has taken of her three children.
In honor of Prince Louis's first birthday, Kensington Palace released three photos of the youngster.
It's particularly exciting to see new pictures of Will and Kate's youngest child, as the first year of his life was relatively undocumented by the press.

The Duchess also captured this sweet moment of Princess Charlotte with her new little brother.
Before Princess Charlotte left for her first day at the Willcocks Nursery School in January of 2018, her mom snapped this picture on the steps at Kensington Palace.
