Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis Share a Close Bond With the Other Kids in the Royal Family
After the birth of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor last week, Prince Harry is the latest royal to become a father—although he's already had a little practice as a godfather to Lena Tindall, the daughter of Harry's cousin Zara Tindall and her husband, Mike.
"He’ll be a great dad," Tindall told the Telegraph of Harry. "Obviously, he’s godfather to Lena, but we’ve got a great group of young ones in the family now."
Mike Tindall continued, revealing that Archie will be joining a growing group of young royal pals. "Lena and obviously Louis are similar ages and Mia [Tindall]’s sort of in between Charlotte and George, and then you’ve got Peter [Phillips]’s children Savannah and Isla who are just a little bit older. James [Viscount Severn, Prince Edward’s son] is, well not exactly the ring leader, but he’s the oldest." It sounds like Archie will have plenty of friends.
George and Charlotte play with Isla and Autumn Phillips at a polo match in the summer of 2018.
"So, yeah, it’s going to be a good little group. And Harry, he’s busy, but he loves playing with them all and he’ll be a good dad," Tindall added.
Archie's arrival was announced this past Monday morning, but Tindall knew about the royal baby before the press, thanks to a royal cousins WhatsApp group. Although the family will surely continue to know more about Archie's life than the public, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have begun to share a little with their fans.
Just yesterday, the couple's Instagram account celebrated Mother's Day with an adorable photo of Meghan holding Archie's little feet. "This is the first Mother’s Day for The Duchess of Sussex," the comment read.
