Prince George and Princess Charlotte Reportedly "Lean on Each Other"
In a new report from People, a source claims that the duo have begun to rely on one another. "They are close in age, and they spend so much time together," the source said. "Playdates [with outsiders] can be tricky, so they learn to lean on each other."
This fall, they may grow even closer, as Charlotte will start at George's school, south London's Thomas's Battersea. "She can’t wait to be with George at big school," the same source said. "She is so excited about it all."
Of course, the young royals are still very much their own people. The source described Charlotte as "more outgoing," as opposed to George's "more reserved" personality.
Charlotte's cheekiness was on full display at the recent King's Cup, a charity regatta which saw Kate Middleton and Prince William compete against each other. (Will came in third, while Kate's boat was ultimately disqualified.) The royal couple brought along their children, and Charlotte made quite a scene when she decided to stick her tongue out at the crowd.
"Kate just handled it wonderfully," a "royal observer" told People. "She just laughed, and it was really lovely to see. For once you looked at them and thought, 'They're a family,' rather than 'the royal family.'"
