Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall may be celebrating their 14th wedding anniversary, but that doesn't mean they get to take the day off of work. The royal couple is in Northern Ireland today on a previously unannounced trip to Hillsborough Castle, a royal residence and the official home of the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.

Charles and Camilla were there to unveil a plaque and officially reopen the castle, which has been under construction since 2014, to visitors. (More information on how you could plan a trip to the castle is available here.)

According to the Clarence House social media accounts, the extensive restoration "was completed with the help of people from across Northern Ireland, including suppliers, contractors and local craftspeople."

Charles also unveiled a new portrait done by local artist Gareth Reid, which will be displayed in the castle, and Camilla spent time at the Clore Learning Centre, where she met with local children and residents of Lillie Court, a care facility near Lisburn.

While their trip was strictly business, several organizations involved in the visit acknowledged that today is a significant day for the Charles and Camilla.

The Hillsborough Castle tweeted, "Today is also Their Royal Highnesses’ 14th wedding anniversary! Congratulations from all at Hillsborough Castle and Gardens."

The Lord-Lieutenant of Belfast also shared her best wishes for Camilla and Charles on social media, posting: "The Lord Lieutenant has welcomed TRH The Prince of Wales & The Duchess of Cornwall to Belfast and wished them a Very Happy Wedding Anniversary."

Camilla and Charles wed on April 9, 2005 in civil ceremony at the Windsor Guildhall, which was then followed by a marriage blessing at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
