Meghan Markle's official visit to Ireland last week was filled with notable fashion moments. (She wore four completely different outfits over the course of 48 hours in Dublin.) But it was a sweet interaction between the Duchess of Sussex and three-year-old Walter Cullen that royal photographer Chris Jackson highlighted as his favorite photo from the trip.

Jackson spoke exclusively with T&C about the story behind his picture, above:

"There was a lot of anticipation for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first overseas visit as a married couple. I was certainly looking forward to the visit to Dublin and was tasked with documenting the royal couple’s visit to the iconic Croke Park Stadium in Dublin. The Sussexes arrived hand-in-hand and took the time to chat to as many of the guests as possible," Jackson wrote in an email.

Another photo that Jackson took of the interaction.

"One of my favorite shots of the day was when Harry and Meghan posed for a group photo but as I was about to take it I noticed Meghan, well her hair specifically, had attracted the attention of 3-year-old Walter Cullen who was being held by his dad. As the young boy reached out to touch the Duchess, I loved the sweet way she interacted with the little boy, it's those lovely unexpected moments that demonstrate how natural these two are on royal engagements and why they generate such a buzz wherever they visit."

Jackson heads up royal coverage at Getty, where he has been working for over a decade. A book of his photographs of the royals called Modern Monarchy will be released by Rizzoli in October, pre-order a copy below:
