Watch Meghan Markle Save the Day During the World's Most Awkward Award Show Moment

When her co-presenter couldn't find his paper, Markle came to the rescue.

Meghan Markle was more than just an attendee at tonight's Endeavour Fund Awards, she was also a presenter. And when things didn't go exactly as planned up there on the podium, the soon-to-be royal stepped in to lighten the mood.

After Markle thanked the crowd saying "I'm truly privileged to be here," she announced the second prize of the evening. That's when things went off the rails a bit.

In the video below by reporter Rebecca English, the papers for Markle's co-presenter appear to have gotten out of order, and he couldn't find the list of nominees. Markle seamlessly stepped in to help locate the missing page and to relieve the awkward tension.

Her wedding to Prince Harry may not be for another couple months, but Markle is clearly already a pro at official royal engagements, even when they don't quite go smoothly.
