In a nice distraction from the ongoing royal baby watch, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are keeping busy this week. Yesterday, they attended a reception for the Commonwealth Youth Forum, and tonight, they are attending a Women's Empowerment Forum at the Royal Aeronautical Society, as part of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

For the occasion, Markle chose a sleek black dress paired with ankle-strapped pumps, and opted to wear her hair up. See the full look below.

Her clutch is Gucci, earrings are from Birks, and the dress is Black Halo's Jackie O style.

The event this evening is being hosted by U.K Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, and it's only fitting that Markle be in attendance. She has been outspoken about women's rights and empowerment since long before she even met Prince Harry. At the Royal Foundation Forum back in February, Markle said, "I hear a lot of people speaking about girls’ empowerment and women’s empowerment — you will hear people saying they are helping women find their voices."

"I fundamentally disagree with that because women don’t need to find their voices, they need to be empowered to use it and people need to be urged to listen," she continued.

She also shared that she plans to "hit the ground running" in work dedicated to empowering women, once she officially becomes a royal.

In addition to the reception, today also marks the one-month countdown until Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding. They will tie the knot at Windsor Castle on May 19.
