Forget Meghan Markle and Duchess Kate for a second because there's another royal family member in our midst who is so down-to-earth, relatable and cool, we can't quite believe she's an heir to the British monarchy.
Enter Lady Amelia Windsor.
While we know all about the relationship status of Prince Harry and Prince William, the Olympic triumphs from the likes of Zara Phillips and the career aspirations of the likes of Beatrice and Eugenie, we must admit Amelia Windsor has been on the background.
The 21-year-old is the daughter of Dr. Sylvana Tomaselli and the Earl of St. Andrews George Windsor, who is the eldest son of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, who is first cousin to Queen Elizabeth II. Got it?
And while Prince Harry and the famous British royals don't have social media accounts, Amelia's Instagram feed is public. Here the University of Edinburgh student documents her travels around the world, fashion show front rows, and her favorite hobbies, which appear to include reading, drinking tea, and sailing.
Having made her catwalk debut earlier this year at the Dolce & Gabbana show during Milan Fashion Week, Amelia ramped up the royal family's fashion credentials, joining the likes of Anaïs Gallagher and Rafferty Law down the runway.
However, while the twentysomething might currently be 36th in line of the throne and has a modelling contract with Storm model agency (the home of Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss), Windsor has a far more refreshing outlook on her role in the world than to rely on her family's connections and fortune.
"I would love to make a contribution to any aspect behind the creative process. On my year abroad I want to really further my understanding of every aspect of a fashion house: from the making of the fabrics to the production of a catwalk show," she told Miss Vogue in January.
She is off to Glastonbury later this month and is obsessed with the La La Land soundtrack. She also loves simple pleasures: avocado, papaya, and Jo Malone body moisturisers ("as a special treat"). She also adores Adwoa Aboah's style.
Can we just be best friends with her already?
