Kate Middleton turns 37 today—and the royal family seems eager to celebrate.

Among the first to publicly wish the Duchess of Cambridge a happy birthday was the Duke of York. On his social media accounts, the Duke shared a photo of Kate attending Princess Eugenie's wedding this fall, along with the caption "Wishing The Duchess of Cambridge a very Happy Birthday!"

The official royal family account shared a slideshow, starting with that same photo from Eugenie's wedding. Most of the images included show Kate interacting with children, which was reinforced in the caption. "The Duchess undertakes royal duties in support of The Queen, both in the UK and overseas—and devotes her time to supporting charitable causes and organisations, several of which are centered around providing children with the best possible start in life," it read.

Prince Charles's account, Clarence House, echoed the well-wishes of the others. The slideshow included photos of Kate with both Charles and his wife, Camilla Duchess of Cornwall.

It's unclear how Kate herself is marking the important day—but we do know that her husband is well aware of the date's significance. Prince William spent part of the day visiting the London Air Ambulance Charity, as he's supporting the organization's 30th anniversary campaign as patron.

The Charity presented him with a sweet hand-made birthday card for Kate. "Thank you for remembering," he said, adding "I did remember this morning so I was okay." Here's hoping he has a good surprise planned for his wife of eight years.
