Kate Middleton opted for a classic look on her second day in Northern Ireland, pairing a bespoke Jenny Packham dress with her late mother-in-law's sapphire earrings. Kate wore her hair down, and finished off the look with a pair of pumps.

The outfit was well-suited to her and her husband's day of engagements, which included a stop by Hillborough Castle to meet with local police, and visits to two child-centered charities: Sure Start, which helps underprivileged children up to four years old, and Cinemagic, which offers youth programs in filmmaking and technology.

At Cinemagic, Kate took part in a make-up activity, helping the children braid a model's hair. (Watch that below.) She and Prince William were also treated to an on-camera demonstration, in which a young child played the part of a news correspondent, microphone and all.

All this comes after the royal couple's sporty first day in the province. The pair (literally) kicked off the day in a soccer stadium, running drills and scrimmages with children. Later, they stopped by Extern Charity, where they participated in a range of athletic activities. Kate was spotted trying her hand at archery, while William lead a team in a canoe race.

The Duke and Duchess wrapped up the day at Empire Music Hall, where they each pulled a pint for the cameras. Per the Daily Mail, William was particularly impressed by his work, saying "look at that bad boy," and "perfect... good enough for an advert."
